The trend is that of greater demand than supply, and this strong trend began in June 2020 and is still ongoing. SD: Our typical customer is an entrepreneur or a freelancer, from Tuscany or northern Italy, who buys a second home to come with his family during the holidays or in the free moments of the year, to switch off and regenerate. Our area is inhabited and offers services all year round, so you can always enjoy the house.

EB: What are the most popular properties at the moment?

SD: There is a strong demand for independent properties: villas with gardens both in the countryside and by the sea. The apartments near the sea also sell well but with outdoor space, which has become essential in a beach house where you live more outside than inside.

SD: I believe that in the next few years the luxury market in our area, and more generally throughout the national territory, will have further development: Italy is a unique country and there are more and more Italian and foreign investors who choose us for the beauty of the landscape. The stock of luxury properties for sale has fallen in the past two years like never before.

Our area in particular has been able to maintain its characteristics of landscape beauty and exclusivity unchanged over time, and this has become our great strength: those who buy a luxury villa in Maremma do so, as well as for the benefits that he will draw from the nature that surrounds him and therefore from the possibility of spending every free moment of his life with the family, even for investment, knowing that he is buying a property in an area that maintains and increases its value in the absence of new buildings.
